What Are the Necessary Steps for the Guardrail Beam Production Progress?
The guardrail beam is an essential protective product for the highway, you must have seen the beams but do you know about the production technique and the process? Next I will explain the production process for the guardrail beams.
The production process mainly includes six steps:
1.Select the steel material and Strip steel uncoiling
We need to strictly select the materials for the steel beams in accordance with the standards or specific requirements of the contract.Then uncoil the steel into strips as the straight panels for the following punching work.
2.Make drawings
Before production, we need to make the detailed drawings according to the actual situation, to determine the guardrail beam maximum height and minimum height. These data must be ensured as accurate as possible,otherwise the beams produced will be the substandard products.
3.Punching
Then punching on the steel panels.Attention to makes the hole distance with accurate operation or it will occur that the bolts can not be fixed in the beam installation. And make the aperture as big as possible, then the later installation work will be more flexible and convenient.
4.Forming
Adjust the guardrail roll forming machine according to the data, and then place the galvanized steel panel into the production equipment to be extruded to meet the requirements of the wave guardrail board.
5.Hot dip galvanizing
Next to do the anti-corrosion treatment of guardrail beams,including: hot dip galvanizing, plastic dipping, hot dip galvanizing plus plastic dipping. After the anti-corrosion treatment,the guardrail posts need drying, especially for the anti-corrosion treatment of plastic dipping,only after the spraying plastic completely attached and solidified on the surface,the beam can be packaged.
6.Water cooling
Put the hot dip galvanized beams into the water for the cooling treatment.
7.Packing
After the production of guardrail beam is finished, we can get to the step of the packing work. Packing operation is very important, for that in the transport process,the bumps is inevitable to happen.Once the surface coating is destructed, it will affect its service life.
